Alan Martinovich is a Partner with Treacy & Company. He has over ten years experience advising management on issues related to corporate competitiveness, business strategy, strategic marketing and new product development. He has served both in an external advisory role and as an operating member of senior executive teams. Alan’s most recent work with Treacy & Company has focused on developing market strategies for clients ranging from Fortune 50 companies to medium-sized firms. He has extensive experience in the insurance, telecommunications and IT sectors.
Prior to joining Treacy & Company, Mr. Martinovich was a principal with ADVENTIS, a global consultancy specializing in the interrelated sectors of telecommunications, IT and media. Mr. Martinovich worked extensively with a range of industry players in the U.S. on issues related to corporate and business unit strategies, pricing and bundling strategy, marketing positioning, network optimization and product line profitability. As well, Mr. Martinovich has served as an advisor to investment groups focused on the telecom space where he has led engagements involving due diligence analysis, asset valuation and management turnarounds.
Before ADVENTIS, Mr. Martinovich led the strategic marketing group at Level 3 Communications, a Fortune 500 telecommunications services company. During his tenure with Level 3, Mr. Martinovich played a leadership role in a number of successful corporate initiatives, including the development of Level 3’s pricing strategy and related capabilities, the creation of its voice over internet protocol (VOIP) strategy and the formation of a business unit focused on serving the needs of large enterprises.
Mr. Martinovich received his MBA from Columbia Business School at Columbia University. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Marketing from the University of Toronto. Mr. Martinovich resides in Dover, Massachusetts, with his wife and three children.
