Dave Jones is a Principal with Treacy & Company. He has nearly 15 years of experience helping companies to define and implement strategies that drive revenue growth - specifically in the disciplines of sales, marketing and innovation. Over the course of his career, Dave has worked with both Fortune 500 companies and private-equity owned portfolio companies, with a broad set of industry experiences that include insurance, health care, basic materials and consumer products. Currently, he is focused on the shifting dynamics of the supply chain, helping companies understand changing customer needs in light of recent technological transformations and developing new approaches to the market for capturing customer value. It’s a shift that requires the insights of a strategist, the agile-nature of an entrepreneur and the discipline of an operator.
Prior to joining Treacy & Company, Dave held multiple roles in both consulting and operations. He spent several years as a Manager for Blue Ridge Partners, working with private-equity owned companies on a variety of sales and revenue-growth related issues. During this time, he led multiple implementations of growth strategies that had a direct impact on near-term sales growth. Prior to Blue Ridge, Dave worked primarily on front-end innovation and longer-term growth strategies for Fortune 100 companies. Dave also has direct operator experience, having served as the VP of Sales for a small healthcare technology company.
Dave holds an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business with concentrations in Strategic Management and Organizational Behavior. He also holds a double degree (with high honors) in Finance and Economics from Iowa State University. He resides in the Chicagoland area with his wife and three children.
