Josh Coleman is a Partner with Treacy & Company. He has over a decade of experience advising senior executives on issues related to growth and innovation. With a background in strategy consulting, Josh has helped companies with corporate strategy, marketing strategy, organizational design and innovation program development. Though he has worked across diverse industries such as life sciences, industrials, financial services, consumer products and the public sector, in the past years Josh has focused on the dynamic changes underway in healthcare. Recent projects have included helping a leading payer to transform into a consumer-oriented company and building innovation disciplines in large health systems. Josh brings a broad perspective to his clients based on experience across the healthcare spectrum and analogous industries; the common thread is a focus on developing a deep understanding of market needs and then organizing effectively for competitive advantage.
Prior to Treacy & Company, Josh worked with Monitor Group and Monitor Deloitte. He began in the London office, working with consumer and life science companies across Europe, and also spent several years in the Middle East developing strategies for industrial and healthcare clients. Prior to consulting, Josh worked with the United Nations in South America and drove a truck in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.
Josh received his MSc from the London School of Economics and his BA (Honors) from Brown University. In addition, he completed a graduate program in Business Administration of SMEs at FLACSO while living in Quito, Ecuador. Josh lives in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago with his wife Alexa and their toddler son, who keeps them on their toes.
