Why were you initially drawn to the Summer Analyst Program at T&Co?

“While I was interested in consulting and business development as a whole, I was specifically drawn to Treacy & Company because of the amazing people there and the unique approach to growth they take with their growth development process. In terms of the people, every person I met was extremely smart but also personable, and I wanted to be part of such a close-knit and hardworking team. Beyond the people, I found their work to be much more creative and diverse than some of the more standard consulting work, given the variable nature of business strategy as a whole as well as the diversity of clients they work with.”

How would you describe your work as a Summer Analyst at T&Co?

“My summer at Treacy & Company was a significant learning experience, where I was consistently pushed outside of my comfort zone, while fully supported along the way by my manager, project team, and fellow office mates in both the Chicago and Boston offices.”

What was a particularly memorable moment from your Summer Analyst experience?

“My final presentation was definitely a very memorable moment from the summer. Not only did I love getting to hear more in depth about all the projects going on in the firm and what the others in the summer analyst class had been working on, but it was also a very gratifying moment for me to show what I had worked so hard on all summer. After all that research and analysis, it was great to see it all come together, form real results for the client, and share that with the firm.”

What are you passionate about outside of work?

“Overall, I love working with people and using business as a tool to make social change. More specifically though, I am a huge foodie, and very passionate about cooking, nutrition, and overall health. My friend and I actually started our own vegan and gluten free, mini banana bread company in Ann Arbor to pursue those passions of ours, and I hope we can continue to use the business as a way to help impact the industry!”

What advice would you give to prospective candidates for the Summer Analyst Program?

“I would say seriously DO IT! It exceeded my expectations far and beyond, in terms of both giving me a challenging learning experience, but also connecting me to a great group of people to help companies build more sustainable futures.”
