What did you do prior to T&Co?
"Prior to T&Co, I worked for Verizon in Atlanta as part of their Finance Leadership Development Program, focusing on codifying inventory best practices."
What about T&Co made you want to apply?
"T&Co’s culture being a small firm was the main driver for me to apply. As I considered what I wanted to do after school, it was important for me to find a work environment where I would be happy and excited to come to work every day. Treacy & Company’s people and workplace environment were differentiated from other places I considered. Additionally, T&Co’s focus on growth was an appealing aspect of business and consulting for me, as we see so many companies that are able to find cost-cutting measures internally but struggle to build a growth strategy. The ability to work with Fortune 500 companies on some of the biggest issues their senior leadership and Board of Directors are thinking about is not something I found anywhere else I applied."
What advice would you give to a new consultant just starting at T&Co?
""As a small firm, you are expected to be an integral part of the team from day one. Don’t be afraid to step up to the plate and tackle issues you thought were reserved for people 3-5 years out of school. Be prepared to be challenged and to constantly learn. Because we are working on some of the biggest problems companies are facing, we need to adapt our thinking to constantly deliver meaningful results to our clients."
